I think, Revelations was the best thing they could do given the situation. I'd rather have it this way then they come up with a completely brand new map and new ideas and everything, only for it to be shit or just not liked by the community. Story wise, it wraps it up perfectly, and whilst the hardcore fans might be disappointed that its just a recycling bin, the casual fans would be over the moon with nostalgia and memories. and yeah its super easy, but I think after things like gorod and ZNS, this map was just a good way to incorporate both the hardcore and casual fans in a way they can both enjoy the map. I think treyarch in the end played their cards right in this scenario. Regardless, the map is stunning and i think you and other creators may give it more shtick then it deserves

Ha I'm right there with you... I was also 10 when this came out. Except my intro was WaW. I remember begging my parents to get me the prestige edition of B01 and I got it on day 1 lol... Good times. This game gave me and my old friends so many memories.

4 yrs later... nearly 5 and after Vanguard zombies and MW3Z, i can definitely tell you, BO4 was the LAST game that held the true essence of zombies. even if the mechanics were wonky. i kinda liked CW zombies but tbh... it just lacks that atmosphere that BO1-4 had. those unique zombies maps with unique crews and wonder weapons. CW zombies just felt like Warzone zombies. it didnt have the arcadey tone and mystic and mysterious vibe that classic zombies had.

I understand why there is only 6 perks. On this map you could do a six perk glitch, but I am assuming since they could not replicate it, they let you have six perks.

If they just made a very simple, gritty zombies mode like WAW or Bo1 Nacht, I think wed all be chill. Key word, simple.
